m3 wheels set out further and therefor cannot be used with spacers in the front and only very thin in the rear if using same size rims. the staggered m3 wheelset would not allow spacers in the rear either

Hi, have been reading the threads about E61 wheels. '10 535xiT with factory style 124 18x8 rims. Saw your photos with these wheels, and then I think another photo with M3 rims (18x8.5?). Wondering if the offset on the M3 rims was okay or if you used spacers. Stance of factory set-up is just not quite right and I'm looking to remedy it, but concerned about offset issue. Thanks.

yes, mine is a manual. where do you live? I've only been in seattle a few days with it but know of another guy, actually in the same neighborhood, with a black one. his has the breyton black rims you can find on tire rack.
it's a great car, 12,000 miles since i got it and it sat mostly until february

Believe I have seen your Touring around town. You have inspired me to get on this forum and look to buy the 535xiT! Is yours a manaul?
