I'm doing this tune, but doubt I'll get the Eurospec LC. I need to call Jags. I spoke to him last year when this tune was still in development.

ECF - Glad to hear you can feel a difference.

Tommy baby! My Singh tune will be nothing compared to what your Singh tune did in your new beast. I'll get a measly 30hp/30tq , where you got 80+ on both ends. Hahahaha!

I was telling Jags that you might be interested but that you're in NY. He said he might be out that way soon to tune a bunch of other cars so maybe you guys can sync up schedules so that you can just bring your car to wherever he's doing the tunes instead of shipping your ECU out west.

I had intended on doing pre/post dynos and had sent an email to a local dyno shop inquiring about their services. Hadn't gotten a reply from them yet but I went to Sonic to chat with Jags and next thing I knew, he was programming my car. The deal was if I don't feel any difference, he'd put my RDSport software back. Well that was Fri and Mon I told Darwin to go ahead and charge my card. Had some fun with the car over the weekend. I probably should have waited a few more days though to make sure it's not a placebo effect I'm feeling. :)

SOLD! I'll call Jags next week, when I get back from vacation. Thanks T. Although, I don't mind sending him my ECU during the week. I don't drive the M5, Monday - Friday. I drive my badass Durango to the train station each day. The M just sits in my garage, so not having an ECU in the car wouldn't be a bad thing.

Gene, there are dynos but none posted online. He can get it for you if you ask. All dyno testing is done in Europe.

All I can say is his flashes are in my opinion the best out there. Jags products works, ask Tom. I was chasing Tom in the 997TT along with the LP640 at 150MPH and his C63 was still pulling. :notworthy:

I might be down to do this also depending on pricing.

Check his website for pricing. We can also do overnight shipping. It normally takes him 30mins-1 hour to tune an ECU.

Singh Autosport also works on 525i too. Expected gains are 15HP & 12TQ with better fuel economy (with stock exhaust).
For my own 525i, I gained about 30 HP with RPi exhaust, K&N drop in filter, ECU tune and RPi scoops.

On the website, price listed is $549

Hey John, is there a tune for the 530I? If so what are the expected gains and price? (I couldn't find it on their site) Does it adversely affect fuel consumption?

Yes, John there is a tune for the 530i. It is listed as BMW's from 1996 to present for $549.

Expected gains are 15 HP and 12lb/TQ. He will provide you a dyno sheet (from his laptop) of a stock car and tuned 530i. His dynos are done in Europe in a wind tunnel dyno which in my opinion, is the most accurate dyno to real life driving.
The tune also helps in throttle response and fuel consumption. You can expect better fuel mileage of 1-2 MPG.

More power and better fuel economy makes it VERY tempting, what is the reflash warranty? If the dealer flashes my ECU will Singh reflash it afterward?
