Can anyone confirm, that other than the CPO Warranty from BMW, which only comes from buying their certified used car means that BMW themselves doesnt offer an extended warranty that can be purchased and is offered directly from BMW and not 3rd party?

That's right, in order to have extended warranty from BMW, you have to buy cpo or be the original owner of the car in question.
