:coolpics: WOW...

I wonder how much time you need to spend for such effects.....?
Do you use any polish-machine, or is it all done by hand?

And by the way, those Accords are very sharp looking cars, Toyota's Avensis is no rival to this sporty Honda in my opinion.
(although both launched their new models recently in this class, right?)

But very very popular here, very reliable too - as I hear.

Dude, you dont need tips from me? haha. If I really have to say one thing, I would just say watch out for paint thickness. The roof and trunk was very low in microns, <90 typically. So I didnt go too agressive on those areas. This car has never been polished and is only 3 yrs old. Have fun detailing the accord! :P

I do these really slowly. haha. i take my time. I think consecutively, I use 12hours+ for every car I detail.
I use the Makita 9227. I dont see how its possible someone can polish by hand nowadays... haha. Its possible, but should take much much longer and I dont think the result will be as good.

Thanks

Hey, I always respect the experience! And you have it about this car!
I have a paint thickness gauge and will monitor the thickness carefully now when you have mentioned it. I wouldn't have believed the paint could be that thin in a new (never polished) car .

No kidding about the thickness. I know BMWs are much healthier in paint thickness, but I didnt expect it to be this low. So far, all the japanese cars I've done are pretty low in paint thickness. Hopefully I'll do a Lexus soon.. they should have the thickest japanese paint.. i hope. :P
