the new 5 series concept is featured in the BMW Mag. I don't like it, e60 is/will probably the best 5 series ever built.

Mercedes announced that they are ending the horsepower war with the 518hp e63 V8. I think that hp will stay in the 500 - 550 range for a while. Cadillac, MB, BMW, Jaguar, Audi all have 500+ hp sedans, but is much more horsepower really usable?

I agree with the e60 being a fantastic car :wub:

but I'm sure once we all see the F10s rolling around the streets for a year or two we will come around to it's charms.

yes "only" I like to see SL 65 AMG Black Series territory... but 500 is totally more than enough. doesnt mean I dont want to see more...

Yeah wouldn't it be someone if BMW built the equivalent of a Black Series line with the M cars. 650 bhp in an M5 would be something. But I doubt it will happen.

I don't think it's an M5... could be the new 540i (twin turbo straigth six with approx 340 BHP).
