I installed my unit today. Quick correction,you dont have to have CDC or MP3 compatible Radio. For those that have a non mp3 cd/radio and no cdc follow instructions 3b in the dension manual. You will need to have your car coded at the stealership as a ipod retrofit. You should pay about an hour of labor. Your car must have CDC preparation, from what i understand every car does. You can find out and verify by calling your stealership and giving them your last 8 number of your VIN.

I'm pretty sure it is based on the model number provided in the subject plus I think the v1 is no longer available.
I got one from the OP at the end of last summer and it's already the one w/ dual MOST ports & blue/green iPod mini-din plug.

Blue or Green? The Green plug doesn't charge the new iPODs the Blue one does.
