Just Purchased 2006 530xiT auto BMW E61 530xiT automatic purchased.

After about 2mths+ of searching and comparing, I purchase a 2006 530xiT auto last week(3-02-2009) and had it delivered this morning(3-09-2009) from out of state(South Carolina to Maryland).

This is to replace my wifes '95 325iA. She is very happy with the new wagon.

I did not have too much time with it yet since I had to go to work but everything checked out well so far. This forum was priceless in helping me with the search, comparison and decision making process. Thank you all!

Congrats on your ride. You will really like the car on road trips.

Couple of things to check:
Make sure that you can play MP3's in the CD player. If it cant, you can have the dealer do the update for no charge. Have them look up SI B65 30 05.

Verify that your car is not part of the recall for the passenger air big and floor sensor issue. They can check this via the VIN.

Get the windows tinted. It will make a huge difference even with the window shades.

Welcome to the 530iX owner's team. 530iX is absolutely one of best models in e60/e61 series.

I check almost all pictures when I found that my own car is almost exactly like yours including most of options, only couple months younger with start-stop button and different colour. Your car looks almost like brand new - Either previous owner has been very careful with car or dealer has done miracles in detailing.
