I am thinking about buying this ride as a DD. I offered 55,000 otd and the dealer said no. They are asking 65,000. It has 57,000 miles. Its in good condition. Give me your opinions on the price.

- Nc Forged Wheels?
- Auto Couture Kit?

57,000 miles in about a year and a half - 2 years, someone was flossing hard, and driving this car everywhere. Sorry, but even at $55,000 OTD, I think I would personally pass. I would probably enjoy a stock, low mileage S550 with the AMG package more.

This may be just my opinion, but I think the Mercedes did an excellent job on the styling of the S550 AMG package. I dont think that body kit pictured above can even come close to the stock styling.

I ask advice because why would I want to go down a wrong path. If you dont ask questions about a topic you are unfamiliar with you're pretty much destined to fail. If you think in this world you can completely make it on your own, you are in for a rude awakening.

Interesting, since they are asking $59,999 on autotrader

Here is one with less bling but at your price and also less miles.

$59,999 + sales tax + doc fee + this fee + that fee = Way over what its worth to me.

I would pass on that one also. It does not have the AMG package.

The car looks pretty good although I do agree with Sam that the factory AMG kit looks awesome. It's hard to beat OEM design. Just like the M Tech kit on the E60. Best looking kit and least expensive than other authentic aftermarket products out there.

As for the price, I don't know how much these should be going for but it seems like the others know and are giving you good advice. Good luck with the decision.

I personally dont care for the kit on the car. I to like the amg kit. My dad has it on his 08 S550 and it is clean.

That's WAY TOO MANY MILES for a car that's 1.5 old... In fact, is it even 1.5...? I'd never buy a car with many miles especially a hi-tech German car....

It's a nice car and my wife's been telling to trade in my E60 for an S-Class.... :)
