Aine vernünftiger auto.

Still waiting for facts on the 523d engine.

The M-B 2,1 liter 204 hp and 500 Nm twin turbo diesel seems as the market best now.

im not liking it very much...and im not claiming to be smarter than BMW, but i personally feel this is a bad decision in terms of marketing. i feel this is kind of in the same class as the the 5 series touring. competition within ones own brand is not good. its cannibalization.

Hmmm a 5-Series Hatchback - I'm not crazy about the look but that's OK as I doubt it will ever make it to the United States!

One nice thing though - the GT is gonna get the new 530i engine! I.e. the twin scroll turbo, or "535i-light".

Dacia oder Skoda sind vernünftigen Autos...

But for sure the GT will be for the whole world.

The car is close the 5 meters long (about +10 cm to the E60)
and the engines will be six cylinder ones.

The wheels on the GT Concept are 21 inches!

So it will cost a bunch more than the E60 or the new F10.

Don't like the side view, it looks as though BMW is trying to compete with Infiniti's FX. :ermm: And as noted here before it is TOO much like the 5 wagon and X6 too!

I don't like it either, but it's an interesting concept.
A mixture of many different BMW's.

Really ! ! !

Hatchbacks are not hot sellers in the USA either. But if it had better rearward visibility I'd give it a look.
