I know that Sirius is not offered yet in Canada. That is clear. I live in the USA and have Sirius installed in my 545i and working. I am driving up to Montreal in the next few weeks. It would be nice to have the Sirius for the trip; I would leave my CD's at home. Has anybody tried this yet? I will be driving from Detroit to Montreal via Toronto.

Thanks.

-Doug

I do not think the Satellite beam cuts off at the border IMO. However, it could degrade as you continue in a northeren direction. I believe there are at least two satellites. I am a heavy user of Sirius just north of Seattle and down on Florida East Coast. Seattle is not that much further south of Ontario, though alot further west. Montreal should be no issue at all.

Just spoke to Sirius Support in Nova Scotia. Great reception there and should be no issues anywhere.

Have fun
