Question about BMW preparation center For people in New york/NJ (etc)

When our cars get unloaded from the vessel, do they go to the dealer or the preparation center ?

The preparation center means that they go to BMW-NA in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey.?

This coming Tuesday I will be off from work and I was wonder if i should take a drive there to take pictures of my baby while they are preparing her.

I appended something similar in 'lounge' but without the question about the preparation center.

I don't think they'll let you into the VPC either...

Hi Amigo-

Congratulations on your new BMW! The VPC in the Northeast is at the Port. It is a secure area. I learned the delivery date to the dealer and went to check it out right off the truck. The car had a small indent in the front bumper that was marked by the VPC as a defect, so I was glad that I saw it before dealer had a chance to fix it. Knowing the damage before the dealer preped the car, I could make sure that I was satisfied with the repair. Of course, my car had the only damage of many delivered at that time.
