+1 on the Insurance Fraud, plus in this day and age it's easier to say your car was totaled in a fire than to admit it was repossessed (no pun intended)!

I once got pulled over on interstate 17 in new york in my 89 trans am. as i was sitting there waiting for the cop to return with my first speeding ticket, i noticed my odometer was at 76,666. i was with my friend about a month later when he was getting a speeding ticket. his odometer was at 86,666. no shit.
