How come my adaptive xenon headlights don't turn when I turn the steering wheel?
The auto-turning feature does not function in the normal 'on' switch position two clicks to the right. Please make sure your headlight switch is set one click to the left, in the Automatic position. A green LED near the switch will indicate when your headlights are turned on in automatic mode.
If you have any additions or comments please post them below for other forum members and web site visitors to read.
Also add that while the car is standing still, they only turn to the right (US spec) and don't function while in reverse. Once the car is moving forward at a certain speed, the adaptive headlights will function in both directions.

Not just US spec, all countrys where the steering wheel is on the left and you drive on the right.
Countrys doing it the opposite way (the wrong way ) it is the opposite.

If you want to see your headlights move to the right you can do the following:
Park in front of a window where you can see your headlights. Put the headlights on. Turn your steeringwheel rightways to the extend. Shut of your engine. The lights will stay on and turn back to the middle again. Make one click more contact and you can see the headlights turn to the right again. I bumped into this when I parked in front of our office..

Does anyone not keep the lights in the auto pos.

I don't. When I go to work it is usually dark and you have to turn your headlights off to pass through the gate so you do not blind the gate guard. So I only use the Auto feature half of the time.
