The tires should be at least 225..... those are 215 so don't buy them. Those are 3-series tires.

I also suggest that if you're dropping some coin on rims and tires you get at least 19" rims. You won't regret that.

That is if you own a 2004+ E60, but you didn't tell us what you drive!

I have a 2008 528 XI so some people are telling me that i need to get 3 series wheels so the offset is ok for the X drive.... Plus these wheels are for sale for $1000 for rims and rubber and they are brand new OEM wheels, i just need to know if they will fit my car!

I believe you need 225's all around, correct me if I'm wrong.

I think i found them on the BMW site but a couple of issues they look very much like the 1 series wheels style Double spoke 182 but the differences are that these wheels are M series and also the bolt whole is not lined up to the spokes like they are in the style 182 wheels... I am very confused

Being the XI expert on this forum, I'll chime in and take over. What's the offset of these wheels? Find out and I'll tell you if they'll work or not. And the 3 series wheel thingy...Yep, that's me that said a long time ago. Words of wisdom I might add. Hahahaha!

Anyway, happy to help, so let me know.

I just figured out what style they are, they are from the 1 series, they are:

Double Spoke 261M
7,5 x 18 Front ET 47 215/40 R18
8,5 x 18 Rear ET 49 245/35 R18

Will these work on my car 2008 528XI ?

I have to run out and do an errand for the wife, but play with this while I'm gone:

http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

Standard (Non-Sport) 17" wheel specs are:

Width: 8
Offset: ET43
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=36&fg=15

These 1 series wheels should be fine, but I highly suggest not going with a 215 tire in the front. The 5 series needs more width in the front.

When I get back, I'll make some more suggestions. Just curious, but what about the 124's that are made specifically for the xi's high offset?

I guess there are 2 questions at this point, will the wheels fit properly without looking odd, and should i buy them since i can get the wheels and rubber for $1,000 for the set, and they are brand new never used! So what do you think?

The front tires are not wide enough for the 5-Series. Stop trying to talk yourself into something you already know deep inside isn't right for your baby.

It'll look like a fat man on a bike.
