My recently bought E60 had a mostly pristine tan leather interior, with the exception of the driver's seat back on the bottom. There is what appears to be an aged dye transfer from a blue jean or something similar, about a 6 inch by 2 inch patch. I have tried to clean this with a few products now, including Lexol and Meguire's gold. Neither have done anything for it.
Does anyone have a special trick for the removal of such dye stains? I have heard a woolite solution may work? Or Zymol (which is impossible to find in chain stores, have to order online). I am very interested to hear before buying and trying more products.
Thanks for any suggestions you may have.

That looks to be the solution. Thanks a lot.
Does anyone have any experience with the leather master super remover? If not I guess I'll test and see the results.
You can use one part woolite and ten part water solution on the tan leather. I spray then use a tooth brush to get into the grain to get it out. I then wipe down the area with a cloth soaked in water to remove the excess woolite. I followed up the damp cloth with a dry microfiber to check my work. I reapply if it needs another application. I have no issues removing jean dye transfer.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Nick

For a couple years ago I bought a lotus white leather interior for my E32.. It was really neglected with "jeans" wear on all seats.. I have for many years used this product http://www.liquidleather.com/ an it took care of it! Use GT 11 and GT 12. I dont know if it is availably in US but I get it shipped from UK..
No before picture but image how a 20 year old interior could look in white found at a scrapyard :-)
Further more their product range are approved by Rolls Royce, Bentley, Ferrari etc..

That looks amazing! Next time I get a light interior, I'm going to try that stuff. I had a jeans stain on my light gray Dakota on my previous car (e46), and I never did get it out completely.

Thanks for all the helpful responses. I will try the woolite to see if that works, and if it doesn't, I will go with the liquid leather or the leather master stuff. Hopefully, the woolite works. Never thought of using detergent on a car seat
